The word, reasonable,
For years Eskom have supplied cheap power, now its Eskom’s time to play catch up, the question is at what cost.
Eskom put South Africa in the hot seat when they sold the ” spare capacity ” to an international company in a neighbouring country. The cost to the country was power outages and lost jobs at Coega in the Eastern Cape.
Now the projected power cost hikes, could or should I was will result in further losses of jobs, the EU and the USA are also looking to reduce their unemployment levels and are competing with us head to head so to speak..
Eskom could be our tipping point, and any new or even existing projects could be starting to slide away from South Africa.
wake up guys
